People - especially if you have a story to tell, or are "clued-in" enough to understand that life is a constant change and so are we. The universe is full of lessons and fun - but you gotta listen! Now, past this California psych-related crap (which I do buy into at some level, obviously!), I am interested in people who can challenge me, teach me new things, and have a great time with.Cats, dogs, parrots, animals in general... I sometimes think that I should abandon mankind and would be better off becoming a veterinarian. However, this is not the path I'm on.Dancing (esp. to old school goth/industrial/alternative 80s), singing like a rock star in my shower, walking aimless with all the time in the world, the ocean, psychology, wearing flip flops, talking for hours with interesting people.
I'm super friendly, but it may take time for me to let you in. I am fiercely protective and loyal to my friends. The people I value the most in my life share common values of integrity, compassion, resiliency, and the willingness to own their shit. :) Make me laugh, and I will always adore you!
You Were Born Under:
Fierce and courageous - you are the king of every situation.
You pounce and attack, until others give you want you want.
Daring and magnetic, you inspire others to follow your lead.
And while you're wild at heart, you have some hidden soft spots.
You are most compatible with a Horse or Dog.
What Year Were You Born Under?
Old-school goth/industrial/alternative 80s....The Cure, Joy Division, Siouxie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Peter Murphy, etc. to Bjork, Massive Attack, Portishead, Moby, BT, Stereolab, etc. to PJ Harvey, Concrete Blonde, Richard Ashcroft, Fugazi, Jawbreaker, etc. to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, etc.Throw in a big pinch of classical, especially stringed instruments (was a piano and violin player)... some opera.
Favs include Amelie, A Very Long Engagement, Lost in Translation, Shop Girl, The Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore, Fight Club, Garden State, Steel Magnolias, Pride and Prejudice (all versions), Sense and Sensibility, The Wedding Banquet, Stranger Than Fiction, Impromptu... this list can get really really long!
CSI junky, House, Divine Design, Rescue Me, and recently discovered Dexter and Californication. Still love Sex and the City and Six Feet Under.
Well, it was fun while it lasted (being allowed to pick my own reading list). Recently enjoyed "A Girl Named Zippy" and "She Got Off the Couch" by Haven Kimmel, as well as "All She was Worth" by Miyuke Miyabe, super surprisingly loved "Love Walked In" by Marisa De Los Santos, and Tony Parson's "Man and Boy". Big fan of Sedaris, Atwood, Hornby... just to name a very few.
People who still know how to be optimistic despite everything.
