I've been creating art and sewing for a REALLY long time :) I began selling my handmade patchwork clothes and jewelry at music festivals and concerts when I was a teenager. I work at home and I recently took back my teaching position at a Montessori school in Virginia. I teach 5-9 year olds full time :) During the summer, I travel to music festivals and sell my art and handmade clothing and accessories. I also work with some dear friends at music festivals, the Joyfull cup ( the big blue coffee bus) and Sunweaver Solar Cafe ( the big green solar school bus...) I LOVE art. I decided that I did not want to choose just one art form because I love them all! I draw, sew, and make jewelry. But, my heart is in ceramics. I make ceramic drums. So I am in the process of creating a boutique style store for ALL of my handmade goods. I am very excited that www.paintedmandolin.com will be up and running soon! As soon as I have a suitable clay studio spot, I will get some drums on here too! I accept custom orders for patchwork items, tapestries, and jewelry. Of course, all of my stitchery is serged with a 4 thread serger and double stitched or top stitched. All wearable appliques heat bonded unless noted. These will last you many moons. I put LOTS of time and love into all of my handmade goods...
