The Medication

The Medication was formed in 1997, when comet hale bob passed earth and somehow infected the band.
At first, the setup was Marc, Bjoern, Bratz (playing guitar) and Marek (bass). Marek left the band about three years later and wasn´t really replaced - Bratz had started to play bass to fill the gap. The wish for a second guitar made Benna enter The Medication in 2002. 2003 Ali completed the actual formation, donating her brilliant vocals to some of the songs. All the guys know each other since highschool and played in weirdly conspired combos - so started Bratz his very first band with Benna and Ali in 1994, never losing touch. At the same time Marc and Bjoern played in a band called "Brainwave Surfers" covering Hawkwind songs and doing special stuff...
It´s kind of hard to describe the music. Basicly it´s rock music. There are various influences from surf and space to punk and noise. Most of the time it´s somewhere in the middle...and most of the time it´s loud.
