Hello. My name is Basskrapht.

About Me

Hey what's up? My name is Dave aka Bässkrapht (aka Sophistik). I'll spare you the cliche, "Crowd pumping, yadda, yadda, energetic mixes, blah blah" and related nonsense.
I've been on the mixing/beat making tip since 1998, making it about about 10 years now. I've been on hiatus from playing out for quite some time now for whatever reasons but nevertheless I'm back. I've been a Seattle local DJ for about 6 years now including my long vacation. Why'd I come back? Even after all life has thrown at me, I guess it all just boils down to that I can't stay away from this thing we call "music". (Especially that of the heavy bass-line variety.)
You know, I'm not gonna say there won't be a time when this is all replaced by some lame-o biography; but for now, I'm not going to bother with it! Anyways, I like hearing from different people so feel free to drop me a line, and thanks for stopping by!
P.S. I'm also a graphics designer and front-end web developer so this myspace sorta has a dual purpose. Check my interwebs for more specific information.
