Messina's versatile musical creations range from extended orchestral works to electronic music. Abandon, a work for chamber orchestra premiered at Carnegie Hall by the American Composers Orchestra, features elements of both of these worlds combined into something quite different from either one of them.His true love for electronic music has sparked an outpouring of tracks in recent months. His acoustic scores range in character and instrumentation and are available here. Currently living in Brooklyn and attending the Juilliard School, Messina will complete his Doctorate of Musical Arts in the coming year.
