I catch the essence in my clothes and on my hands, Camels, spilled Corona and the sound of mariachi

About Me

Immersed in the arts from birth, multi-instrumentalist/producer Rudy "HighEnd" Mangual can't help but be passionate about music. He hails from a family of Puerto Rican artists: his father is a musician and publisher of Latin Beat Magazine and his mother is a painter and gallery owner.HighEnd attacks his music with an all-encompassing textural variety that pays tribute to his heritage and to his generation. Combining Latin rhythms and samples with jazz, lounge, hip-hop beats and down-tempo electronica, his music is dynamic and at times so bearing, and brings into focus an original sensibility that's all his own.
