Acoustic show!!!! Just having fun!!!!!!Born in Lee's Summit, at that time a small town 26 miles southeast of Kansas City, MO, Kenneth Duncan first found his voice while singing in a church choir at the age of six. Although he enjoyed singing, even giving his first solo performance in the sixth grade, his future looked even brighter in the sports world. Local coaches couldn't wait for Kenneth to enter high school, so that the strapping youngster could begin participating on the football and track teams. Although Kenneth sang in both the Men's Choir and later, the Concert Choir, he drew increasing attention from Division I schools for football, even though still a freshman. During this year, an incident occurred that would have great significance in his life, but few recognized it at the time. His sister, Tammy, was graduating from high school, and Kenneth, as most boys of that age, had little money to buy a suitable present for her graduation. He had heard the song "Time of Your Life", by the group, Green Day, and felt that it would be wonderful way to express uniquely his wishes for his sister and her future. However, he felt that the song needed accompaniment, so he obtained an old guitar, and began to teach himself how to play it. By the end of the year, he performed his "gift" in front of an audience of over 500, and won admiration for his singing and newly-acquired guitar playing. Undaunted, Kenneth renewed his love of playing guitar, singing, and decided to develop his performing and songwriting skills. Leaving Kansas City, he made a short stop in Fayette, MO, but the pull of "Music City" was too strong. Within six weeks after arriving in Nashville, Kenneth went into the studio and cut his first single, and new material is being written daily. Recently, Kenneth received recognition for his songwriting with the production and release of five of his cuts, including "Let It Rain" a duet from the debut CD of Aria recording artist Stephen Cochran with American Idol finalist Lindsey Cardinale. Kenneth has been collaborating with a Grammy-award winning producer on his own CD while writing with internationally-known artists and just made a publishing deal with Banner Music. Kenneth is currently booking shows and looking forward to the future as his career continues to flourish.
