I am an artist and songwriter born in the heart of East Texas, between Shreveport Louisiana and Dallas, in a town called Tyler. I was raised on country music, heavily influenced by many country legends, especially my Dad, George Mayo, who was a fantastic singer and songwriter. Years later I formed The Texas Rebel Band and played Tx night spots, then bought a club in Kilgore Texas. Here I continued to entertain customers building a fan base. 5 years later I came to Nashville to record an album and 1 year later signed a record deal with an independent label. Promoted by Indie Bullet, and booked by Cal Stevens Productions out of Las Vegas, my Band and I then hit the road playing the night club circuit in 6 states. I now live in Nashville where I continue to write, record and perform music with my Band RoadHouse. I also have the pleasure of hosting Songwriters Nights in Nashville for some of the best Artist and Songwriters Nashville has to offer.
