OK So far we have these dogs going: Rowdy in Tennessee, Chance in Louisiana, Penny in Florida, Cheeks in San Francisco, CA, Stitch in Canada, Neighmaway in Alabama, As you can see I am packed! I am going up to Canada to get Stitch first. I can't wait!!! So be ready to go........Listen for the beep... Love, Lillibelle Hi everyone, I am in Canada now. I am waiting for Stitch, he went back in to get a few extra bones. On my way over here I stopped at Niagra Falls......ummm....had a slight problem with directions...... But good news the car and I are all dry now!! Hi everyone! I've got Stitch!!! Whew, it took me 39 hours to get here.!! Today we went to see the world's largest dinosaur in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. I really wanted to go to see the Stampede but that happens in July, oh well. Since I didn't realize how close we would be to California, we are going to pick up Cheeks next. Then go south from there. My mom made me take my brother Max along, I put him in the trunk. If he doesn't whine he can come out later. Also Penny from Iceland wants to join us. So we will all be going up to get her last!! Bring warm clothes!!! Love, LilliBelle Ok everyone, If you look on my page you will see a world travel map showing where we are going. California, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Iceland. Remember listen for the beep! Today Stitch and I also visited the worlds largest bee in Falher, Alberta. After this picture was taken I fell off the bee!!! But Stitch is so brave, he saved me!!! Next stop San Francisco to see my best friend Cheeks!!My mom called and made me take my brother Max out of the trunk!!! So I put him in the back seat, he is already homesick! On our way to pick up Cheeks, we went whale watching on San Juan Island in Washington State. We met this really nice whale named Ruffles that gave us a ride! We finally made it to San Francisco!! Yeah!!! We are at Cheeks house......Beep ....Beep We're here Cheeks! OK Cheeks is on board!!! He wants to show us the Golden Gate Bridge before we go! Wow San Francisco is a beautiful place!! Cheeks took us sightseeing while we were here. First we went to Alcatraz Island. It was kind of scary being there, but since I was with three guys I felt safe after a while. Over the 29 years (1934-1963) that the Federal prison operated, 36 men (including two who tried to escape twice) were involved in 14 separate escape attempts. Twenty-three were caught, six were shot and killed during their escape, and two drowned. Here's a picture of us on the watchtower, looking for prisoners BOL! Next we went to Fisherman's Wharf. Here is a picture of us a nice tourist took. Then we went on a sailboat ride! Only I kind of got seasick (sorry about puking on you Max) And lastly, we went on a cable car ride! Thanks Cheeks for showing us around! My friend Paul wants to come too! Luckily he lives in California too! Beep Beep............. OK Paul is on board and we are off to Louisiana!! Last night we drove to Vegas. We had a great time......but......well...ummmmm...................lets just say by the end of the night things got a little bit crazy!! Here's another picture from last night with some performers from Caesar's Palace! This morning we went to Hoover Dam, boy is it big! The Hoover Dam is the second highest dam in the country and the 18th highest in the world. It generates more than four billion kilowatt-hours a year -- that's enough to serve 1.3 million people. I slipped and fell into the water............but the guys didn't even miss me until they were back in the car!!!!!!! (note to the boys: you won't be driving my car any time soon!!!!) Luckily I didn't have any of my tiaras on!!!!!!. Hi everyone, we just stopped in Texas to go horseback riding. For some reason we couldn't get the horses to move, don't know why. Next stop Chance's house in Louisiana! Surprise! I decided to fly the others in so we can continue the rest of our trip together!! Hi everyone! Today we were in Louisiana where Chance lives. Several areas were hit very hard by Hurricane Katrina last year. We could not pass through without lending a hand. So we helped build a house for Habitat for Humanity! We worked very hard! Here's a picture of Chance, Rowdy and Paul making cement. Here's a picture of Cheeks and Penny with a wall they just built! Here Stitch and I are putting up drywall. Doesn't everyone do that in Princess outfits???? Here is Max and Neighmaway showing off the roof beams they just put up!! Here is Penny getting a lift by crane with some building supplies. And here is a group shot of everyone at the end of a long day. Look how nice our house turned out!! They even gave us Habitat for Humanity hats and mugs for helping!!! We love the people of Louisiana!!!!! We had a blast at the French Quarter of New Orleans.......things got silly again......can you guess who is who under the masks????? Bet ya can't!!!!Are you done guessing??? Then here we are !!! Notice all the girls got dressed up. Yeah we are HOT!!! Those guys were lucky to be seen with us!!!!! Whoever did this to the car, it is NOT funny!!!!!! OK .... OK..... maybe it is funny, BUT whoever put the post it note on my butt saying "kick me"........that is definitely NOT funny!!!! Today we went to Alabama, Neighmaway's home state!! First we visited her family in Prattville and then we decided to go golfing!! Here Penny and Cheeks are just heading out to play in their golf cart! Here are Neighmaway and Stitch leaving the clubhouse. Penny and Rowdy taking a break Some deer wandered onto the grass, and Paul was brave enough to pet one. Unfortunately right after this picture was taken the deer charged at Paul and ended up biting him in the rear!!! And finally Max and I can't figure out why those people are staring at us!!! Haven't they ever seen dogs play golf???? After golfing, we went to see the Vulcan statue. The Vulcan statue is the largest cast iron statue in the world and the symbol of Birmingham, Alabama. The statue depicts the Roman god Vulcan. It is the largest statue ever constructed in the United States. It is the second-largest statue standing in the United States behind the Statue of Liberty. Here is Paul, Chance, Penny, Max, Rowdy and Neighmaway at the statue. Here's a picture of me, Cheeks, Penny and Stitch at the heel of the statue to show you how big it is!!!! Next we went to see the battleship USS Alabama. Commissioned in August 1942, the Alabama was nicknamed the "Lucky A" because no American lives were ever lost on board due to enemy fire during her 4 1/2 years of active duty. Here are some of us on the deck. Here are some of us in the hanger area. And then we got into big trouble. Rowdy dared Cheeks to walk out onto one of those big guns on the ship. Needless to say we got thrown off the ship after that!!!!! Our daily group photo had to be taken far, VERY FAR, away from the ship!!! Luckily we bought our souvenir USS Alabama sailor hats before Rowdy and Cheeks were bad dogs!! good news everyone! My friend Coco Chanel is joining us too! That makes 11 of us now!!!! Today we went to see Rowdy's family in Tennessee!! We had a great time!!! Then we drove out to ........Dollywood!!!!!! We had a blast despite the fact that: 1. we didn't meet the height requirements for many rides, 2. Coco Chanel got lost, 3. Chance got cotton candy stuck to him, and Penny lost her stuffed Hedgehog on the roller coaster!!! You can see the exact moment when Penny's Hedgehog flew off the coaster. You can also see the cotton candy stuck to Chance's head!!! Later on while looking for Coco Chanel we can upon this site......hmmmmmmmm Our group photo of the day was a real shocker! We were just walking down a path of Dollywood and who should we see??? But Dolly herself!!! She likes dogs, oh except when Stitch went to the bathroom on her shoe, that she didn't like!! Where will we be tomorrow????? You will have to wait to find out!!! Today we went to Graceland, Elvis Presley's home! Lilli's Road Trip 06 Hey everyone! Today we are in Ormond Beach, Florida Penny's home town!! We love Penny's family and we love the warm weather too! We rented this beautiful house right on the beach. As you can see Stitch, Cheeks and Paul have wasted no time in marking their territory! The house comes with a gorgeous pool, so we spent the morning relaxing poolside. In the afternoon we hit the beach for some fun and some sun!The girls went swimming, boy, those bikini's sure do make their figures look good!!!Here are Cheeks, Max ( who hasn't taken his Elvis glasses off since we got them yesterday) and myself. Notice how my bikini flatters my figure!! Hey..........wait a minute...........How come the girls get great bodies and I am stuck with the same old hairy one????? No fair!! Hellooooooooo,,,,,,it's MY road trip........ shouldn't I get the best body????? Someone is slipping up here.....remind me to file a complaint.Later in the day Penny, Penny and Coco Chanel went for a walk on the beach collecting shells. It is so peaceful and quiet here!!Can you guess where we are going tomorrow???? Today we went to Disney World!!!!! Cheeks and Neighmaway having a blast at the "Its a Small World" ride. Tourists thought that they were part of the show Liberty Square Riverboat ride We got tired of waiting in line for the raft to take us over to Tom Sawyer Island, so we jumped in and swam over! I guess Rowdy and Max were bad boys!!!! Here Coco, Stitch and Penny are being brave and entering the Haunted Mansion Here Coco, Stitch and Penny are running out of the Haunted Mansion after spending 10 seconds inside!!! Max got dizzy on the teacup ride and had to close his eyes.At the Pirates of Caribbean Ride we made sure that dog didn't give the pirates the key! We had fun on the raceway Here's a picture of Stitch........and Stitch!!!! Took naps at the Hall of Presidents The Tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom Chance wore his skunk outfit today! People kept on wanting to take pictures with him!! Paul having some fun Beauties and the Beast We had a magical day, I love my friends!!! Phew! I drove all night so that we could be in Coco Chanel's home state of Illinois today. It's cold here compared to Florida!!! Coco lives in Belleville, which is French for beautiful city! Here Coco is seen telling us about his home town. We then decided to go to the windy city of Chicago. On the way there we passed some unusual sites. You sure like things big in Illinois!Stitch and Max just happened to have their Lincoln outfits in the trunk so they could pose with Lincoln's statue! We caught East Peoria's Festival of LightsAnd here is our group picture in front of the Chicago skylineSurprise everyone, I am having you all flown home so you can spend Thanksgiving with your families!! These lads are not related to Santa Claus in any way. They are descendants of trolls and were originally used to scare children. Every child in Iceland puts their best shoe on their bedroom window sill on December 12th and they get a small gift from each lad when he arrives in town. But beware not to be naughty or the lad might just leave a rotten potato in your shoe! Iceland is beautiful and we thank Penny for showing us around!Leifur Eiríksson, the Discoverer of North America.
