Daemoneon was created in early 2007, shortly after the breakup of my previous band Obscenum. My goal with Obscenum was to fuse various forms of metal (death / black / thrash etc.) , and not to fit into any particular mold. I never wanted Obscenum to sound like any other band, and I think we did a fairly decent job of accomplishing that goal. Eventually I just got tired of dealing with other band members lack of interest and dedication and came to realize that if I wanted to create something that would truly be what I wanted it to be, I would have to do it all myself. And so became DAEMONEON.
