I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

On the one hand, I'm laid-back, easy going and very easy to get along with. I get along with pretty much everyone - if I don't like someone, you know there's got to be a darn good reason.

On the other hand, I'm restless, outgoing and always looking for something fun to do. I can drink all night at a bar, or sit all night at a movie (though I haven't really drank all night at a movie too often)

I don't act my age, and I still think that's a good thing.

Without laughter, life is nothing - it's way too short and way too hectic to take anything too seriously.

I'm indescribable, but if you had to, you could use one of these words: mischievous, contemplative, fun, humorous, gullible, modest, cute, witty, creative, quirky, loyal, or just go ahead and make one up on your own (I'm running out of words).

My Interests

Travel, Movies, Casinos, Comedy, Reading/Writing, Music (live or otherwise), Karaoke, Sports (Mets, Islanders, Steelers, Knicks) and cheering for any team playing the Yankees (especially Boston)

I'd like to meet:

See my personal philosophy on laughter above - if you don't agree with that, we'll probably drive each other insane in under a week.

So that means those who can take a joke, and give a joke, and be happy sitting in the corner of a bar making fun of everyone around us. I haven't decided yet if that's to make ourselves feel superior, or because we are.

And those who don't mind beer, or one of the other many fine stepchildren in the alcohol family.

And those who have a good memory with names or dates, since I can't remember those for squat (probably because I have too many friends who fall into the previous group).

And really anyone who can take me seriously when I need to be taken seriously, and really not take what I say seriously the other 95% of the time. You'll have to figure out which is which on your own.

And finally, anyone who doesn't think that Karaoke was sent here by some evil being to torture sober people around the globe

Enough Hillary Already

The 30 days of St. Patrick’s Day

It's become an annual tradition.  Much like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, or the Yule Log on the TV on christmas eve, every year, I put up 30 Irish rock songs in 30 days (more or less - I f...

Random thoughts for a Sunday

I don't know - maybe it's because I'm so well rested for the first time in what feels like years, I figured we could throw some philosophies at one another over a nice Colt 45. (Old, favorite most abs...

The beauty of the Yankees Suck chant, and I’m glad the Mets lost

Yes, it obvious.  20,000 pennants, 18,000 World Series titles, a team salary higher than the GNP of 95% of the countries in the world.  The Yankees don't really suck by the true definition o...
