About Me

It's true, black folks do ski!
We are the first and oldest black ski club in the U.S. and in 2008 we will be celebrating 50 years of skiing.
As we move forward toward the next 50 years, we as the Generation Next sub-group of the Jim Dandy Ski Club know in order to not just survive but thrive we are becoming a year round sports and activities club.
We do more than just ski.

We do everything from playing softball, white water rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking to gospel singing.
If you're a Detroiter and you're looking for an active, adventurous group of people to hang out with, WE WANT YOU!
We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month at the
North Rosedale Park Community House
located at 18445 Scarsdale(Between Glastonbury and Avon Road)
Detroit, Michigan 48223 at 7:00 pm.
2007/08 Membership dues are now being accepted.
Annual Membership Fees: Individual New Membership(18yr -30yr) $40.00
Individual Renewal Membership(18yr -30yr)$30.00
Individual New Membership $70.00
Individual Renewal Membership $60.00
Family New Membership $85.00
Family Renewal Membership $75.00
Late Fee: $10.00
(Current Members renewing after first meeting in October will be assessed $10.00)
