About Me

Welcome to my page! This is my secondary MySpace profile dedicated only to the plight of children and families of children who have been abused, are sickly, and in need of love, support, and prayer.

I never really took a look at the horrors of child abuse until I was introduced to Kaleb Schwade's page. After reading his story I viewed countless other pages of children here on MySpace and read many equally horrifying stories. After many tears of sadness and anger I have pledged to join in the crusade of getting child abuse laws instituted on a Federal level. If you feel the same way I do about this issue, please, feel free to add me as a friend.

A little about me: I am a SAHM of a gorgeous and vivacious little boy named Bailey who is 2 1/2 going on 40! I've been happily married to Brian for going on 10 years and one day we hope to add more children to our small but cozy family. You can find out more about me on my primary profile at www.myspace.com/kysmequick

My Interests

My son! I'm addicted to him. He is my life's blood. Dramatic? Only if you're not a Mommy.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is ready to join this effort with me.

Music:

I like tons of stuff but lately I've kind of been out of the loop. Most of my musical repertoire has been Dan Zanes, Imagination Movers, Hannah Montana, Ralph's World, and the Wiggles. You Moms and Dads know who they are!

Movies:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is still my favorite of all time.

Television:

I'm so into Anime it's ridiculous! So when I'm not watching Playhouse Disney I like to watch Bleach, Trinity Blood +, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, and some silly ones like Crayon Shin Chan. I also like all the CSIs and Law & Order SVU. You will catch me sneaking peeks at SuperNanny and WifeSwap on occasion as well.

Books:

Anything by Paulo Coelho, all the Harry Potters, "Waiting" by Ha Jin, The Hitchiker's Guide (all five books) by Douglas Adams, "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand.

Heroes:

Parents who have been able to survive the unimaginable.

My Blog

Rally for Child Abuse reform, July 18th

When I saw all the stories about shaken babies, abused children, and other horrific things that happen to our kids I told my husband and whoever would listen that I was going to be more active in brin...
