As of today we are announcing that My favorite Confession is splitting up.
We are happy that we had the change to try out many things musically and learn from each other combined with our deep friendship.
Though sun usually shines, the last half year we weren't on one line anymore and didn't have faith that we reunited. We did nearly finished a full 6 song EP (beautiful quality) and have 2 rehearsal songs (low quality, though very emotional, in my believes the best thing we ever made). We will probably publish these recordings in some time on myspace and website.

My Favorite Confession is a new generation band that knows how to combine music from the past with music of the present. The trio, who known each other by friendship, started in 2005 with idea of 'just making some good music'. This point of view has grown into a solid own sound accompanied with the name 'My Favorite Confession'.
The music they produce is a mix of different influences and backgrounds the trio has. The drummer and bass player are from the former band 88 Circles Above. The singer/guitarist has his roots in hardcore/emo bands like Crivits, Springrain, Awaiting Seasons and North.
The main vibe is being carried by an indie sound from the 80'ies, which we can also hear in Bloc Party, Tiger Lou and We Are Scientist. This is carefully combined with a piece of pop/rock of bands like Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls and Feeder. My Favorite Confession has their own swinging indie, which meets catchy pop-rock and are being accompanied by poppy vocals.
The first 4-song demo has been self released and spread over the internet. In the beginning of 2008 the band wants to release new songs which will rather have the form of a full length album than a second demo. This shows that the enthusiasm and ambitions of the band are set to high. In 2008 they want(ed) to hit the stage all over Holland and openly confess what they are all about.
