About Me

I am a retired law Enforcement Officer. The Proudest moments of my life were the birth of my son Elliot Jr.,my daughter Brittany-Christina,my niece Tanya and her daughter Yadalize, and realizing years ago that I had a new member to my family Sean O'Connell.I have been married for the past 28 yrs.to my teenage Sweetheart Donna. I am a grieving Dad.On Sept.08th 2001,I lost my son Elliot Jr.at the age of 19 due to an Accidental Overdose of OxyContin.(See #1 on my friend's list.)You never get used to losing a child, but somehow you learn to live with it.He was the best son a Dad could ask for,and he will stay Forever In My Heart. I also have a gorgeous 20 yr.old daughter,Brittany-Christina.She is all that I could ask for and more. She is in College studying Criminal Justice, and hopes to become a Police Officer. She is truly a "Daddy's Lil Girl"(see #2 on my friends list)My niece Tanya is more like a daughter than a niece.Last year she added Joy to our family in the addition of her daughter Yadalize.(a.k.a Condoleezza Rice)The reason I call her Condoleezza is because she fits her to a tee, lol. While coaching Little League Baseball I first set my eyes on Sean O'Connell,it was without a doubt he was part of the Matos Family.I am proud to say he has grown into being a wonderful, articulate, young man.Who is loved dearly by the Matos and O'Connell famlies. Thirteen months after losing my son and father in law,we lost my brother in law,my wife's brother Rick.My brother in law Rick was a truck driver, who loved the road.He was an avid deer hunter, and his son Jason Lang, was what he was most proud of in his life.We have had much more loss in this family than in most, somehow you just learn to appreciate so much the people in your life.I would like to mention my mother in law,Janet Lang.Who has worked very hard all her life, and recently retired. She drives everyone crazy, except me.Love to go to Foxwoods with her because I shut my phone off,and she can't bother me. To all my sons' friends, whom I have become fond of. All are different and have special qualities that a parent could be proud of.found this sports layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
