I was born in 1980 in Braila, a small town, where I always felt that time stays in one place, that nothing happens (at least nothing good). I believe that lead me somehow towards electronic music which wasn’t well known in that place at my early age of 13-14 years old. It all started with J.M.Jarre and Vangelis but shortly after I’ve discovered the boys from Kraftwerk.Their albums have influnced me a lot and lead my footsteps to the clubby, more underground side of this music. In highschool I was almost a fan of the VIVA TV, I was watching at their weekly shows (Berlin House, Club Rotation) which were presenting the night life and the club scene from mainly Germany & Ibiza along with once in a year festivals like Love Parade and Mayday. All these made me wishing to became a part of this like a DJ. I was absolutely fascinated of that gear and those knobs and what the man behind could do with them. And the greatest reward was and will always be the reaction he was getting from the crowd.
Comming to Bucharest to continue my studies I’ve became part of clubs and partys headlined by romanian or international dj’s trying to steel as much as I could from their technique even though I had nothing to exercise with. That’s why in 2002 I went to England to work for 8 months and with the money I’ve earned I bought my first cuple of turntables, a 2 channels mixer and the headphones. In the same time I didn’t miss the oportunity to go to some parties in the main London clubs which left the fingerprint on my music style.Coming back home i’ve started to practice but soon i saw the advantages of playing on cd players so i’ve moved on them.
About 2 years ago i’ve decided to start producing my own records and i can say it ain’t easy at all.I still have so many things to learn.
