I am an award winning audio engineer, editor and producer with indie and major label experience. I have worked with many wonderful artists and studios around the country. I am also a professionally endorsed, award winning drummer and percussionist with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have toured nationally and I perform frequently with many fantastic groups and artists. I have played on numerous LP’s, EP’s, demos and singles and my discography is continually growing. I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I love everyday and I enjoy every minute of it!
In the studio, I help good musicians sound great and great musicians sound incredible. My approach as an engineer is simple: Create a comfortable environment that inspires the artist to perform to the best of their abilities and capture that performance at the highest quality possible. Any engineer can push record and get a take, I work towards for getting a flawless performance, plus the energy and vibe that makes the track a “keeperâ€. It’s the capturing the intangibles that separate recorded audio from recorded performance.
On a production level, I work to make the artists vision a reality. My role as a producer can include creating arrangements and backing tracks, re-writing, vocal production, sound synthesis, performance coaching and more. Every artist is an individual and I adjust my style accordingly to suit the needs of the project. I always keep the interests of the artists as the top priority. On a personal level, I make good things happen for myself and the others around me and once I set my mind to something there's no stopping me. I like to give others their space and let them be themselves, and I enjoy the same in return. I love to help people, I tend to see the good in others, I'm all about positivity and creating situations that benefit everyone involved. I'm honest, respectful, I have integrity and I respect fidelity and I always stand up for what I believe in.
