You may have heard me on The New 101.5 JamZ!
Of course, I'm sure you recall I was Kid and Ruben's Executive Producer at JamZ & Kiss FM. I also worked with Kid as his producer on News 92.3 KTAR FM.
You may also recognize me from San Diego where I did a morning show with Billy Blast. I do the voice of "Peter" whom you may remember from the Kid and Ruben Phone Scams and Billy Blast's Phone Jacks.
I grew up all over Southern California. I was born in Lakewood, spent my childhood years in North Long Beach and went to high school in Apple Valley. Upon graduating, I served 5 years in the Navy on board the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) and the USS Coronado (AGF-11), both stationed in San Diego where I lived for 7 years.
My radio career started during my last year in the Navy when I interned with my mentor and good friend, Kid Jay, at Jammin' Z90 in San Diego. I worked my way from intern up to morning show producer/co-host with my good friend Billy Blast. From there I moved to Phoenix to work at Kiss FM which resulted in being hired by Kid and Ruben to produce their morning show.
Since I grew up in SoCal, I'm an L.A. sports fan. I like the Lakers, Dodgers and Raiders since they used to be in L.A. I have a Lakers tattoo on my right arm. But I do have respect for all San Diego and Phoenix teams, especially the Phoenix Suns. I really enjoy watching the Suns play because Steve Nash reminds me a little of Magic Johnson with his passing ability. The Suns organization has practically adopted me. I'm currently the team's personal Music Director.
I'm often teased by my friends for wearing so much RocaWear. My closet is full of RocaWear clothing. I like most of their styles and the way they fit. It's very rare to see me without a RocaWear article of clothing on.
