Name: Rosen Chilikov a.k.a. DJ Wonder
Nationality: Bulgarian
Born: 27th.10.1979
His name is Rosen Chilikov a.k.a. DJ Wonder. He started his career in 1998, playing commercial dance music, because electronic music was not as popular in Bulgaria back then. In the same time he initiated and participated in many underground trance events.
During his first residency at “The English Pub” in the mountain resort Pamporovo, in 1999, he started playing mainly house music. His second residency was in the year 2000, in club “FLY’N’HY” in Plovdiv – at the time the place for clubbers. In 2002 he became a resident in the first house music club in Plovdiv “No Sense”.
In the beginning of the winter season of 2003 he had an invitation to play in house club “Plazma” (www.clubplazma.com), still one of the best house clubs in Bulgaria and was it’s resident for three years. In that period he had a show called “High Contrast” on a local radio station and the chance to play along DJs like:
Tony Thomas, Marcelo Castelli, Mastic Soul, Marcos Cruz, Wally Lopez, Dr Kucho, Ashley Casselle, Tarkan, Chris Fortier, Tom Baker, Paul Anthony, Christian Fisher, La Di Da, Slacker, Paul Jakson, Kobe, Peace Division, Daniel Poli, Peter Gilderblom, Tangun, Macit, Julian Poker, OMID 16b, RPO, Roman Lieske, Abel Ramos, Cesar Del Rio, Dario Nunez, Richie Santana, Thomas Penton, Eric Entrena and many others.
In the same time, for four years, he worked as sound director for The National Opera in Plovdiv, theatres, concerts, shows, ballet performances and many other different events in Plovdiv and the whole country. At the moment he plays in clubs all over the country and is working on some private projects in his studio.
