About Me

Clayton Boaz was born in Western Kentucky in 1974. His mother played the piano and the guitar. She listened to all of the early Motown records, Chuck Berry, etc. His dad has always been a cowboy, a real one and loved Country music. When he heard Chuck Berry play the guitar at the age of 8, music became part of his life. When he started playing bars and clubs, his homeboys nicknamed him "ClayBo." Living in Los Angeles, ClayBo was easier to jive than Clayton. Currently he is writing Country/Blues in Nashville. Peace, Love, and Mother Doug
