METAL EVILUTION is dedicated to promoting and marketing both Australian and overseas Metal acts throughout the underground and beyond. Formed in 2003 it was started as a vehicle to promote local Metal shows in Sydney, Australia as at the time there was only about 1 or 2 Metal friendly venues and not a lot of regular shows. Some of the bands M.E. worked with in the early days were DUNGEON, INFERNAL METHOD, BLACK MAJESTY, ATOMIZER and many others.
After about 2 years of solid organising and promoting shows METAL EVILUTION branched out into band management first working with then newbies TRANSCENDING MORTALITY and later on recruited both LYCANTHIA and THIS TANGLED WEB.The profile of these acts lifted considerably with the time working with M.E. with the likes of Australian tours, larger venues and international supports resulting.
In mid 2007 M.E. ceased to be briefly laying in wait to be revamped, reborn and ready to again make it's mark on the Metal world.August 2007 see's that time arrive and now with a new look and a fresh start there are many big goals to achieve and plans to hatch.While still in a transition stage the first confirmation is that M.E. will once again resume work with impressive Sydney Doom Metallers LYCANTHIA.Other acts will surely be enlisted into the ranks and also with plans of Australian CD distribution for overseas acts there should be a healthy international Metal relationship as well.
The future should see METAL EVILUTION banging down a few new doors and once again loudly and proudly support the best damn music in the world HEAVY METAL! We hope we have your support too.
