Do what you love and the rest will follow. Ride hard - live well.

About Me

I'm a study in opposites. I like my routine and order but I sometimes end up in chaos. I think I have ADHD or at least ants in my pants. I multi-task too much and my friends tell me to calm down. I will. When I'm 99.

Cheetos are the current food of choice. I run and bike a lot. Mainly to burn off the cheetos. Mostly to keep my sanity. I'm a mountain biking addict, and if you like mountain biking as well, then I'll be your friend for life. Especially if you have a car, free time, and are better than me so that I can improve my rad skills.

I love summer, hate winter, love being outdoors, hate being cooped up. When I get inspired I love to write. And play guitar. And play drums. And make movies. But not all at once, although I could probably try.

My Interests

I like speed. Driving fast, biking fast, anything to get my adrenaline pumping. I'm also naturally curious, and enjoy talking to people and hearing their stories. I'm a documentary filmmaker, and love documenting the world and people around me. I like the unique, the unknown and sometimes even the mundane.

I'd like to meet:

You know who you are.

Music:

Magnolia Electric Company, The Cliks, Kimya Dawson, Damien Jurado, Linkin Park, PJ Harvey, Nirvana unplugged, tacky Middle Eastern pop music, some reggae dub and bhangra, undiscovered acoustic stuff, anything with heart and soul.

Movies:

All Over Me, Startup Dot Com, Control Room, Breaking Away, Jesus' Son, The Idiots, Thirteen, Floating, Diabolique (1954), It will End Up In Tears (Israeli Queer Doc) - there are so many.

Television:

I don't have cable, so I only get three fuzzy channels. I'm not a fan of fuzz, so mostly I don't watch much.

Books:

Two of my favorite authors are Annie Proulx and Charles Baxter.

Heroes:

My number one hero was and always will be my grandfather. I owe so much to him.

"The truly creative mind, in any field, is no more than this: a human born abnormally, inhumanely sensitive. To her, a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god and failure is death.

She/he must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency, she is not really alive unless she is creating." -Pearl S. Buck
