The proposed identity management system has multiple layers . . .
The NIR (National Identity Register).
Individual checking and numbering of the population.
Marking many personal details as "registrable facts" to be disclosed and constantly updated.
Collection and checking of biometrics (e.g. fingerprints).
The card itself.
A widespread scanner network and secure (one hopes)infrastructure connecting it to the central database.
Provision for use across the private and public sectors.
Data-sharing between organisations on an unprecedented scale.
Ive set this site up mainly as a way to notify more people about what is going on, and link them to the bigger sites that they might not know are out there. But if people want to send in their own information, or stuff about what they have been doing to fight back against ID cards, then they will be put up on the site.
There are ofcourse bigger sites out there, especially the ones in the top friends section. I reccomend that you check them out and add them to find out about things happening in your area that you can get involved in.
I am based in Essex and will try to give relavent and useful information about what is happening in London and the sorrounding areas. But the priority of this site is to show what real people are doing. Go out, put up flyers, advertise the sites, then take pictures and send them to me. You'll get credit on the site.Ive been gone for awhile. But im back. With a new technique.
