Keep on chooglin'

About Me

Our last show is tomorrow! All ages! 7pm sharp! Bring food and drinks! We're going to miss you...don't miss us.
--------------------------------------
Six plucky young upstarts in Seattle decided that the summer of 2007 was going to be the best summer EVER. They knew they needed to help people throughout Seattle and the Northwest chill out, take 'er easy, and just generally have a good time. They also knew they needed to choogle all night long. How, how could they spread this message?
Then like a special light shined down at midnight, the answer came--a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band! And Revival Revival was born. The band will be playing parties and barbeques all summer long, just kickin' back and enjoying the weather and the good times.
Revival Revival invites you to join us this summer--bring your beer, your Midnight Special, your jeans and work boots, your chooglin' spirit, and come have a good time with us at a party near you.
Better yet, throw a barbeque and have us play. You don't have to worry if you got no money, we ain't no fortunate sons, but we play for beer and good times. See you this summer!

Bob: …but right now, we're going to go to Jennifer, who's sitting with a band that truly understands the meaning of "rolling on a river."
Jennifer: Thanks, Bob. To some people, The Big Lebowski is just a movie. To Revival Revival, it is a way of life. Revival Revival, often called Revival Squared, bought an old riverboat and, as they say, filled it with dreams. Singer and creator Westin Glass had this to say:
Westin: I think of myself more of a Creedenceator, Jennifer. What we're doing here is beyond music. It's a celebration of life, the river and Creedence. People step off the shore and into the world of Loud Mary, where anything is possible.
Jennifer: And people are listening. Loud Mary has become the single most recognized boat in North America, surpassing even the Titanic, the Nina and the Pinta.
Westin: I could feel it in my gut. And when we picked up not only Jeff Bridges, but the Coen brothers as well, at our first port show, I knew we had something special. They've been chooglin' along with us since then, and show no intention of deboarding.
Jennifer: TV home guru Martha Stewart even joined in on the fun, joining the band and cooking Creedence themed meals such as the annual "Bad Moon Rising" Halloween soiree. This summer’s Fogerty Folk Down, which took place while Loud Mary was docked in New Orleans, attracted Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and recently rehabbed Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay: When my mother used to go out and leave us at home, I would hide under my bed listening to "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" over and over again on repeat. Creedence was my rock. I lost that when Dina reentered my life and the money and drugs and fame took over. But Revival Squared is doing something wholesome that I actually want to be a part of.
Jennifer: So much so, that Lohan and Glass have found a rock in each other. The two were engaged in September.
Westin: I can tell you this much, Lindsay has changed my world. I won't go as far to say that she means more to me than Creedence, but she would say the same thing. Let's just say I won't be looking out my back door anymore, because everything I need is right here.
Jennifer: It certainly is. Back to you Bob.
