My name is Earl, you know like the tv show. In 1967 at age twelve I started playing drums. My interest in becoming a musician came from going in a studio to see my sister cut two records. I worked all summer and saved my money to buy a set of drums. It was a 4 piece Ludwig kit with a throne and 1 zildjian cymbal at a price of $210. I have cymbals that cost more than that now.By age 13 I was was already playing in local clubs with musicians two and three times my age. I have played in dozen's of bands over the 40 years I have been playing.There are no bad musicians, some just play different from others.
