You Can't Ride a Dead Horse

About Me

I'm the drummer for the band Reasonable Deception. In 1994 I met Chuck Doner, lead guitarist. I was originally in a band called Killing Time. I met Chuck through the guitarist of Killing Time. Chuck and I formed the band playing in mom's basement. Chuck sang for awhile. My sisters still claim that our first song, "Nightmare Kitchen" sounded like "Uh ta Cha", lyrically! How could they have any concept of death metal? :) We suffered impending doom losing many members, and playing very few shows. A milestone was when we opened up for Monstrosity in Detroit. Chuck moved to Florida in 2002, and I moved there in 2005. That is where the rest of the band comes in. Mike D., vocalist for R.D., was a friend of Chucks, and also my first Florida roomate. Stack, R.D's. rhythm guitarist was a friend of Mikes'. An old friend/ex-R.D. bass player, Dom Radtke, met Ace of bass(ha) at a local bar on Sanibel Island. Ace moved from Vegas and that brings us current. Collectively, we have been playing shows since February of 2006. I have recorded 5 times in a total of 4 states. West Virginia, Michigan, Florida, and Tennessee. I was in another band called Shatter Bound, and for any interested, there is an S.B. myspace. In addition to the band, I edit video and pictures, create GIFs, and play around with animation, walk, workout, teach my Iguana new tricks, and slack. Check out Reasonable Deception's myspace website. We recorded an EP in Nashville in October. It has 5 tracks and is in final mixing mode. Stay tuned for our latest disc, "Nightmare Kitchen"!! Due mid April!
