From the coastal area of South Carolina, The Standridges travel every week to share the gospel in song. Their ministry spans across many states and denominations. Showcased at the National Quartet Convention every year, they've also performed on Gospel Music Television, received nominations for Favorite Mixed Group, and the two youngest members of this group, Carter-Ann and Olivia, have received numerous awards for their musicianship.Sherman, the only male member, is an ordained minister, group manager and bus driver; sings lead and baritone, and plays several instruments.Jan, Sherman's wife, is a song writer, speaker, books for The Standridges, sings lead and alto, and is a pianist. About sixty percent of their music is her original work, and she is currently writing a book.Carter-Ann is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Sherman and Jan. . She sings lead, soprano, and alto. She plays violin, mandolin, guitar, and piano, and tears down equipment after concerts. She and her sister, Olivia, have a powerful presence on stage and bless many congregations and audiences.Olivia is thirteen, the youngest member of The Standridges, and a personality you will not soon forget, I guarantee you! She plays violin, mandolin, bass guitar, and piano. At age ten, she was the junior state champion in violin in South Carolina. She and Carter-Ann began playing music around age five. Olivia can sing a strong lead and soprano.Their latest CD received an excelent rating, which is the top rating, by the Singing News.They have had several national releases to radio and are getting ready to release "He Sees The Lamb".
