Imani's vision is to spread the Word of God through all generations. To do this, the two young men, CJ(ikhumba) and JayD(Njueni) have voiced their personal experiences and touched the hearts of many with their soul searching lyrics and mellow voices.
Why Imani? Their mission is to reach out to the world with their music and show that Faith in God brings peace that surpasses all human understanding...The two graduated from Nyeri Baptist High School last year. It was here that they formed the group Imani and allied with their producer, Gathirimu of G-Entertainment Inc. They underwent a lot of hardships and disappointments. But they also learnt that it takes pressure to make diamond, heat to harden vessels and God to create stars. They learnt to put their faith in God and through each dissappointment, a higher level of success and new wisdom would follow. For them, the journey has only begun and the sky is the limit.
