About Me

Dreadjob has been gently rocking the Sunshine Coast's party scene for the past five years playing soulful sets that bring together the finest dub, reggae, and roots-based-beats that the planet has to offer. His expansive collection of tunes from Jamaica and beyond, both classic and cutting-edge, are bound to continue blowing minds and shaking booties in the future. While Dreadjob has been sending down roots closer to home Brookes has been serving up his mix of progressive beats and drum'n'bass to summer revellers in the northern hemisphere. Returning last year from a club residency in Sweden to study electronic music production back here in Melbourne, Brookes is sure to continue that the good times flow, wherever he is. Aside from his ear for the freshest sounds Brookes brings to the duo a formidable technical ability and know-how.Both Dreadjob and Brookes have established themselves as DJ's worth listening to. Anyone who has been to their now legendary MOTOWN reggae parties will testify that these boys have a fusion in their sets and know how to throw down the memorably mental sounds.
