A native Houstonian, John Denson a.k.a. Johnny Clutch, is an everyday guy looking to do phenomenal things. Discovered by producer and long time friend Warehouse, Clutch is sending a clear message that DA South can “spit”. Although only rapping for a short period of time, his alluring tales of love lost, partying, and just everyday life help you to peer into the life that many actually lead. An honor student throughout grade school, he attended Philadelphia’s Drexel University to study Computer engineering. Along the way the loss of his father, his scholarship and the birth of a daughter forced him to face the realities of the world. Working as many as three jobs at one time to support his family, Houston, knows the importance of hard work and sacrifice. No stranger to 100 hrs work weeks it’s that mentality he applies to his music and with the additon of Mayhem215(Philly) and Vid(Philly) the south and east connect with breathtaking results.
