About Me

We are vegetarians
against animal cruelty.
That includes animal testing,
eating animals, torture of any kind,
that sorta stuff.
We will not shove our beliefs down your throat
and force you to be vegetarians.
We are simply here to try and help you understand more
about why vegetarianism is a benefit.
We have carnivorous friends,
and we love them all.
We also love animals very much
and will do almost anything to help them.

Over 70 million animals a year are tortured and killed in US laboratories.
Rabbits are routinely blinded by having various products forced into their eyes by many companies today. This is called the Draize test. The Draize test does not guarantee human safety, but protects companies from potential lawsuits by their customers.
At least 5,000,000,000 of US tax dollars are poured into animal experiments every year.
Over 10,000,000,000 animals are slaughtered for human consumption annually, and of that 10 billion, at least 6 billion are derived from "broiler" chickens which are killed after 9 weeks of life.
Laying hens are usually kept 5 or 6 to a 14 inch square cage, and as many as 20% die of stress or disease from these living conditions.
At least half of the 10,000,000 cows kept for milk in the US live on factory farms, in conditions that cause tremendous suffering to the animals.
In the 1990s, cows live only around four to five years. The life-expectancy is 20 to 25 years. To keep the animals productive, farmers keep the cows pregnant through the use of artividial insemination.
Approximately 3.5 million animals (including raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, lynxes, possums, nutria, beavers, muskrats, otters, among others) are killed yearly in the US.
More than half of all fur attire come from previously trapped animals.
2.7 million animals are harvested on these "fur farms".
More than half a billion acres of federale land alone goes to killing more than 200,000,000 animals each year.
Hunting is permitted on 60% of US wildlife refuges as well as national forests and state parks. 45% of hunters kill on public lands.
Every year thousands of animals (including elephants, tigers, rhinos, etc.) are killed by poachers to sell on black markets. "Canned hunts" but exotic animals from zoos, as well as a larger variety of sources, to allow wealthy hunters to kill them.
More than half a million seals are killed by humans competing for fish every year.

Other marine animals are dying because of the lack of fish.
Since 1990, captive elephants have killed 43 people due to cruelty and suffering of circus training.
Over 40,000 bulls are killed in bull fights every year.
Purely for entertainment, animals are being tortured over the course of an hour with methods such as being speared in their backs and later dying from blood loss and/or exhaustion.
Dolphins and killer whales live only 25% of their natural life-expectancy when captive.
Up to 50,000 greyhounds are killed or sent to experimentation a year when they are no longer profitable for racing.
There are 7 states without felony provisions for cruelty to animals: Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah.
