The Skills for a New Millennium Tour is a family project created by the Dogfolks: Stan (51), Delyla (43), and Megan (16). We are life-long activists dedicated to the development of a healthy, sustainable world. A unique variety of lifestyles have turned us into a new crossbreed of radical, activist, redneck, pagan, homemakers. Stan is a self-published poet and excellent driver with background in nearly all things farm. This past winter he took the Earth Activist Training and is now finishing his BA in Communications. Delyla has recently completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a focus on Non-Profit Administration at the University of Montana, and is renowned for both: her street medic & animal training as well as her baking. Megan has just begun her life (relatively speaking). Regardless, she has apprenticed at the Bay Area Coalition for Headwaters, participated in tree-sits, and taught at two Free Activist Witchcamps. She has had extensive experience working with youths including several years as a 4-H Teen-Leader in Ravalli County. After decades of commitment to activism designed to increase a collective consciousness of the world’s pressing problems, we see a need to teach people how to actualize their awareness into positive action for change. The Earth Activist Training (EAT) “Permibus†provides both transportation and housing for the Skills for New Millennium Tour. The Permibus is a self-contained, veggie-oil powered mobile demonstration of revolutionary, sustainable living with self-contained power systems, waste composting systems, and a gray water fed herb garden.
