About Me

I book & promote shows in the Rapid City, SD area with 6 years booking experience.Rapid City is a favourite town of MANY bands to play and is a great spot to stop on tour between the Pacific Northwest and places like Minneapolis or Denver.I am especially interested in booking: indie/folk punk/experimental/performance art/dancy stuff/folk/gypsy/diy punk/electronic/ska/crust & metal bands with cellos or violins/girl bands/glam rock.I specialize in booking well-organized and well-promoted shows for rather well-known bands as well as small, intimate diy house shows and such.I pay bands well, and almost always provide food and a place to crash. Roofhopping shenanigans, dance parties and/or trips to the local dinosaur park at midnight are also in the mix if you stick around after the show.I also book tours for bands I think are cool and whose music I want to support.Please contact me if you need a tour or show for your band - I can also provide contacts for other midwestern promoters in various states.If you are in a band coming to town or a traveler and you just need a place to crash for the night, contact me as well._______________________________________________________ ____

usually on sundays I start drinking wine before noon and spend the day reading aloud excerpts from antique books and the Bible, with one or two of my only real friends in this world, who share the love of this weird fetish with me. then we go on picnics by bicycle or wear funny hats and write poetry. yeah i don't expect you to understand.

i also like the poetry of Adam Stephens.
i'm working on writing some books. i have hundreds of journals. i like reading other people's journals when they're not looking.
