Mixd Up Productions is the unholy alliance of founders Aaron Daniel and Emmerse along with several of the area's best DJs who play everything from deep house to drum & bass. During a 2003 Sunday Skool session (weekly gathering of DJs and friends at a Rapid City picnic area), the early ideas for a production company were kicked around. A common love for all types of electronic music forged a bond between early Mixd Up members, a bond that is still strong today with members as far away as Vancouver and Denver.

With the goal of bringing together a wide variety of electronic music and presenting the best the area had to offer, Mixd Up threw its first party: Sweat. From there, it was a string of successful parties including the 14-hour music festival, Utopia, and the annual Naughty Valentines Ball events.

Mixd Up's strength is in the fans. We greatly appreciate the years of support and look forward to bringing you quality beats from the sickest DJs. See you on the dance floor.
