About Me

How I made my profile:
I used MyWackoSpace.com 's amazing MySpace Editor . [My name is pronounced: Rain-ah] Mommy (to 2 under five years), Wife to an amazing filmmaker/musician (Happily married-thank you very much-), non-traditionalist, lefty-liberal, artist, shopper, pop culture connaisseur, thrifty mama, graphic designer, type designer, I go out of my way to give independent owner/operators my business, My kids can get me in a tizzy-but I'm otherwise laid back, I love walking alleys, I collect vinyl-especially since I had worked a stint at Root Cellar Records early in this decade, I love to daydream, I make things with my hands, love a thunderstorm + Gram Parsons record. Dark coffee, dark chocolate, dark beer, cemetery statues, bowling, Big Wheels by ELO, analog sound, fuzz, London. I listen mainly to indie singer/songwriters and my kids listen to everything I listen to...One of my daughter's most recent takes: "Lightning's very smart/and it's a criiime" from We can Work it Out. The Girl can watch Yellow Submarine and Mary Poppins until the cows come home and the Boy can do the same with Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii, various YouTube gems, and School of Rock.
