About Me

Rather Be Dead are a six piece band born from the cultural cesspoll that is the Central Coast of Australia. Formed in 2003, RBD have developed their style over time to forge their own sound. Utilising dual vocals, RBD plays what could be described as Death-Hardcore. RBD have been performing live since September 2004, playing local shows as well as gigs in Newcastle, Sydney, Scone, Canberra, Adelaide and more.... Rather Be Dead released their S/T demo June 2005 and are now armed with a new EP recorded early in 2006 (lets talk about death, baby).
