Funnily Enough, NO, I don't want to admire your rock collection.....

About Me

Chipped red nails and too much eyeliner. The smell of Miss Dior Cherie and cigarette smoke. Passion for ugly patterned cardigans. Less Pale and interesting and more pale and looking like I've been cryogenically defrosted. ************************************************************ ******************************************************** I like walking down Hackney road in the rain with my ipod turned full blast, something heartbreakingly beautiful blaring in my ears. I like sixties dresses and colourful tights and boots and statement coats, big big cups of tea in the bath and britpop on the stereo, hot pants and jewel coloured vintage vests, oversized cardigans and snuggly hoodies. Spontaneous nights out that last long into the next morning, Staying in bed til five p.m then going straight out again. Greasy spoon cafes with those shaker things that free-pour the sugar, Barry's amazing neon jumper. (I want one) and ketchup on everything...I like it when its hot enough to not wear shoes at all, roof terraces and summer barbecues, sleeping outside and summer fesivals. I like meeting random people on the night bus, historical romances and cairprinha coctails. I like sixteen hour mega sleeps, languishing in bed on a summer's morning with the window wide open, climbing over the fence into those secret gardens in bloomsbury with a bottle of scotch to drink the balmy summer night away. I like wrapping up in winter coats and woolly scarfs and running through the autumn leaves. I like cats. I like sushi. I love a proper english seaside. I love the colour teal and music music music music: listening, watching, playing my beautiful teal metallic pearl export drum kit loudly, dancing like a demented robot barbie, Finding a band so amazing that if you ever needed some kind of re-affirmation why you could ever want to be involved in the music industry or be in a band they would be it, singing along when I think no-one is there, Moshi Moshi Records. ************************************************************ ********************************************************* You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who knows that music is the best thing in the whole world ever and isn't 'too cool' to have a good time. Michael - the beautiful Reiss model boy from Aberdeen who lived in Tuffnell Park who I met on the night bus when I was on my way back from cafe royal one tuesday night, who made me get off in Camden to find somewhere else to drink...Jack Hughes from sixth form, someone else who despises crisps, a willing hairdresser who doesn't do conceptual and won't make me look like a Hox-titch twat. And The One: the lanky, opinionated, independant, music obsessed boy who wants to get fucked in the park on supermarket spirits, and talk forever about absolutely everything under the sun and beneath the surface and beyond, who wants to know and share everything and try everything at least once, and stay up for days and days and keep the party going, who wants to go on adventures and who dances, and will steal my heart and ravish me in the bath. But he'll turn up, one day, I'm in no rush...

I turned around to look better at the coat and it was on a girl who just happened to be hanging off the arm of the boy who'd broken up with me a few weeks earlier. I practically passed out in the street. Becky went back to work and feeling so bad that I'd a) seen all my suspicions affirmed like a Hollyoaks dream sequence and b) that I hadn't found my perfect boots trawled the internet til she found them. Books:

"You want a lover who takes time over her looks, not some stupid kid who's always wrapped up in her books" (Emmy The Great) I like books. Lolita is my all time favourite. That opening paragraph is the most beautiful thing ever written in the English language - and it utterly blows me away that Nabakov came up with that when English wasn't even his first language. Anything Russian or about Russia. Pnin. George Orwell. The Rotters Club. Music Biogs. History Books (cos I'm a bit of a geek like that) Those autobiographies about life in China, Japan etc, such as Wild Swans. Anything by Noel Streatfield or Enid Blyton. Agatha Christie. Roald Dahl. Brideshead Revisited. Tender is the Night. Vile Bodies. The Picture of Dorian Gray. Salome. The Virgin Suicides. Harry Potter. Trashy Chick lit, Mills and Boon, those big fat family sagas that get made into Sunday eveningTV serials. Junk. Absolutely nothing about surrealism in my whole life ever again, please dear God nevereverevereverevereveereeverever. A amazing book called the Final Journey which blew my mind when I was a little girl and Junkie Love which just blew my mind on the train home today. Dracula.Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, my favourite play in the whole wide world. Diary of A Crush - it gave me hope during my teenage years! The Historian. Winter In Madrid. And right now the new Harry Potter. G-aaaahhhh its sooooo dramatic. Go Harry Go.

Heroes:

Tim Buckley, Nabakov and Jarvis Cocker.
