Given the opportunity I'd really like to meet Eleanor Roosevelt, Alice Paul, and the rest of the Women's Suffrage movement. Perhaps they'd work on Hillary's campaign? I'd also like to meet Beatrix Potter and Jane Austen. Maybe I'd invite them to tea. Who knows. Oh, and I'd like to ask Amelia Earhart what really happened when she disappeared. It's harder for me to select living people I'd like to meet. Mostly I'd want to meet those writers, directors, and actors responsible for my favorite shows, movies, or novels. Josh Whedon, Neil Gaiman, Brian K. Vaughan, and way too many strong female actors to name. Right now I'd like to hang out with:
Amber Benson
I think she'd be really chill...
Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco, Dar Williams, Tori Amos, Melissa Ferrick, Regina Spektor, celtic, classical, techno, trance, tribal, musicals, and more...
Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Dangerous Beauty, Serenity, Highlander, Resident Evil, RENT, Starship Troopers, The Neverending Story, Labrynth, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, Willow, Ladyhawke, Legend, The Secret of Nimn, Mirrormask, The Cutting Edge, lots of lesbian films, Bollywood films, and more...
Xena, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, The X-Files, Highlander, Heroes, Bad Girls, The L Word, and more...
