now here's a hard one ! im continually finding music , new and old , that inspires me. If i was to name a few heavy weights ....JIMI HENDRIX , D'angelo and all those off Voodoo(?uestlove) !!! Where would we be without the J.Bs 65-74?(Clyde Stubelfield - Jabo Starks) the hardcore jazz styles of john coltrane (Elvin Jones),ornette coleman (Ed Blackwell)and untold amounts of others!!....then there's the GOSPEL and Soul of Sam Cooke , Otis Redding (Booker T and The M.Gs), Aretha , Nina , Mahalia...arrgh melt ! The future where all that went to in Hip Hop , Badu , The Roots , Wu-Tang , Madlib , Solesides , Mos Def , Talib Kwali... you get the picture . Then theres the styles from our shores with Much Respect .. Fat Freddys Drop , Kora , Jacob , Sparticus R and so many more !! really , its beyond me to try and let you know , but music is my life amongst my family/friends
