The young emcee admits he was arrested for "all kinds of stupid shit" and knew he had to turn his life around. While jail tends to mentally break individuals, the time he spent was more of a wake-up call. "Atlanta is so saturated with people who are trying to do Snap, Crunk, or Super Gangsta, so all you got to do is put all of them together and you have me." Dirtyred says, "It's like this, if you see a fine ass female at the club that everybody is trying to get but cain't, all you got to do is wait until she gets alone and walk up and be yourself, then your the only one who gets her number. That makes you stand out. Now everybody wanna know who that nigga is who got her number when everybody else got turned down." he says. "A lot of people didn't expect me to come up or be somebody, but thats the good thing about it. Because like T.I. said, I want what a muthafucka don't want me to have. Anything that i'm not suppose to have makes me want it even more."
