The past couple of years rap artist from some of Atlanta’s most renowned neighborhoods along the Westside of I-20 have dominated the national perception of Atlanta’s rap scene. However, recently numerous artists have begun to sprout from different areas around Atlanta. One faction leading this movement to showcase other Atlanta area talent pools is Trackmobb. Based in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Trackmobb founders/producers Sincere and Izreal have built a reputation on Atlanta’s Eastside for supplying superlative beats for some of the biggest up incoming artist in Atlanta such as: Young Capone, T-Rok aka Mr. Clean , Diamond and Princess of Crime Mob, E.T, J-nicks, Sunny V, Maceo, P-Nut, and T.Z Kapone,Young Sean to name a few.To proclaim Trackmobb as just another “squad” out of Atlanta would be a vast understatement. Trackmobb consist of a legion of young, hungry, and talented artists, writers and producers ready to grab the music industry by its ears and put it in a chokehold. Leading this collection of gifted artist is Cyco. The 16 year-old rapper is the youngest of the bunch, however, he is the artist who has thus far made the biggest impact. This youngster has caught the attention of various A&R’s and DJ’s alike throughout Atlanta and is slated to drop his first major mixtape with CTE D-J, DJ Kutthroat. In addition the rap phenomenon is praised by Trackmobb boss Sincere for having great work ethic. “He stays on the grind” says Sincere. “For him to be so young he is a monster in the booth, he’s a true artist.” “I remember when I met him he was like 14. He used to follow me and my boy around a lot.
