I was born on 04 July 1984. I grew up in a house full of music. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 and bass at the age of 14. With my highschool band, we won the best group and the best cover second prize in the National Music Competition. At the age of 20, I won first place in the Marmara University Performing Arts Competition. In 2005, I met my bass teacher Mustafa Dönmez, whom I respect very much. In the same year, I left Khas University, Economics Program and was accepted to Galatasaray Music Academy, Sound
Engineering Program. I have played bass in numerous projects and recordings. Currently, I play bass for one of Turkey's best known rock artists; 'Hayko Cepkin', also for an experimental funk project 'Flues'.Peri - Gidis Donus / Bass solo - jazz cafe '07
