I am here for Friends

About Me

I moved to LA seven years ago for my dancing. I was supposed to stay six months and ended up staying longer....It has been a blessing to share and learn everyday from different people with different backgrounds. Graduating from World Arts and Cultures at UCLA has been the accomplishment of the first mission. Right now, I am developing dance curriculum for LAUSD, perform with my B ladies, the Get Down Dolls, and teach breakin, Hip Hop, Yoga, House and Middle Eastern dances in various schools, work on documentaries, thrwo events... I love travelling, meeting people and I've had the chance to check out the Hip Hop scene wherever I go. I started graffiti at the age of 13 and then got into bgirling two years later. I have researched and practiced traditional dances since and tried to find how they relate to what we do now in breakin, lockin, poppin, house, Hip Hop, dancehall and all the other contemporary dance styles that one can name. Hip Hop and Deep House are my life. PeaceLayout made by gayleamy
