After collaborating with various artists, doing remixes and original music under the name RCSoundminers, RCS founder Jukka felt that a change was inevitable. Isogone began as a complete solo project, but has now expanded doing various remixes much like RCSoundminers - remixes (unreleased and unofficial) include music from the Beastie Boys, Landscape, Karen Kamon, Jean Michel Jarre, Malk de Koijn and Gwen Stefani.
Turning away from the more quirky and rough electronic sound of RCSoundminers, Isogone continues the saga with a more mellow sound. Not necessarily giving the music a more "easier" approach but rather another perspective. While RCSoundminers was more sample / pattern based music, Isogone is more free improvisation driven.
