I'm a bass player based in Amsterdam, working in the gypsy jazz scene playing with guitarists as Jimmy Rosenberg, Robin Nolan and Reinier Voet. Besides these projects, I play with the garageblues band Cuban Heels and work with singer/songwriter J.P. DenTex.

For me Robin is the most creative and dynamic guitarist in 'Gypsyland'. As one of the few non gypsy players, he's well respected in the gypsy scene because of his unique, fresh and hip take on Django's repertoire. Jimmy is without a doubt one of the greatest gypsy guitarists and virtuoso improvisers around. I'm greatful to work with a musician whose natural approach to the guitar is highly impressive and incomparable with anyone else on the scene. Check out: DVD 'Jimmy Rosenberg is back', which contains the concert played after the premiere of the documentary about Jimmy: 'the Father, the Son & the Talent' in Amsterdam music temple Paradiso, march 2007. DVD 'Jimmy Rosenberg at the Bimhuis' which includes a Jimmy Rosenberg Quartet set as well as a Robin Nolan Trio performance in an already called 'legendaric' evening at the Bimhuis Amsterdam.
