I'm completely happy. Thanks to GOD, family (SD fam & LBC fam) and friends. Surrounding myself with drunkards positive and most of all honest people and drinking in the indulgences of life once in a while.Born in Florida. Va, Pa & then found myself splashing around in Puerto Rico (I miss it there) then eventually grew up in Sunny San Diego, where my heart resides. That is of course somewhere along the beach with my tackle box full of paint. My parents instilled our heritage by moving me to a 3rd world country so I may better myself with college. Life learned, IS a life well experienced. Military Brat!! Go US Navy (Dad) & the Navy Seals (Mom). Been through alot and found myself running from San Diego to Riverside for solitude, West Covina for convenience & currently in Lakewood, near everything that surrounds LA and OC. It can't get any better than this. Soon, it'll be all worth it. Patience is a virtue. Here, living my life as it should be. Independent, content, happy, and LOVED. Love is something you work for. I can honestly say that I've worked for it, have you? Ready for the world! With my sidekicks at my side, you can say I feel like the Orbit girl! I have a great husband who graduated as a Bruin and is now a Lion getting his Graduate degree. He is an Educator and my little Nerd! I have GREAT friends, great friends. They all know! ;) So a special thank you to my best-est friends, my true friends for supporting me during lifes obstacles which I have overcome. They truly know that only a strong willed woman can endure what I've been through. I am thankful. They are my second family away from home. I know the meaning of TRUE ''friendship'' do you? I work, I work HARD . I continue to give it my all, at all times. I go to sleep in a warm bed and wake up with food to eat. Breathe deep and I keep it all in balance. My heart is more full than my inbox. I have not lost sight of what matters. Put a penny under your pillow, go to sleep, try to dream of eels, olives or ironing boards.
I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't gone through bumps & bruises. I have no regrets, NONE. (You hear that?!)
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. So don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it into your future. ;)
Sometimes I feel like the LUCKIEST girl alive. At other times, I know.
