Had a fantastic week in New Orleans... so sad to be leaving!

Made our way to Lafayette, Louisiana - it was a beautiful drive west to get here - toured Avery Island (home of the Tabasco sauce)...enjoyed an early dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Atchafalaya...

Made it to the Martin Luther King, Jr Charter School in the Lower Ninth ward with the books! We teamed up with other volunteers and unpacked, sorted, classified, categorized, alphabetized and shelved...

Made it safely to New Orleans finally! Six hour drive turned into a nine plus hour drive with many pit stops and side trips...need sleep...zzzzzzz

We absolutely LOVED Nashville...had so much fun listening to the live musicians who were ridiculously amazing. Today we drove to Memphis -- first stop Graceland! Now we are getting ready for a dinne...
