THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING OUR 27th RENAISSANCE FAIRE A HUGE SUCCESS.

Here Ye! Here Ye!

Mi Lords & Ladies come and experience the Days of Yore and the "Knights, Duels, Foods" and the excitement of the Middle Ages. The Faire is a journey back to a time of pageantry and chivalry. Held in Lakewood’s picturesque Pine Park. This year of the Lords 2009, September 19th & 20th

See The Knights of Valour Jousting in shining armour on charging "War Horses". See World Champion Jouster, Shane Adams, and others from Australia, Canada, and the United States joust on their War Horses. Dare battle the invisible knight and tame the dragon. See archers using the English long bow, Knights in armour battling for their honour in hand–to-hand combat, a gypsy camp, belly dancers, medieval dancers. The Magic Show will leave you breathless with their magical performance.

Stroll in the Village and see the many merchants with their wares of yesteryear. Partake of the large number of food purveyors that will please anyone’s taste and thy thirst. Children’s games and activities will be available for the young at heart. Ride the ponies and be a knight yourself. Take a horse drawn wagon ride. You will be able to test your skill with the bow, axe, and knife. There are wandering poets, minstrels, and jougglers. On Sunday witness the crowning of the Faire’s King and Queen chosen from amongst children ages 10 and under dressed in period garb, prizes awarded to all participants.

My Interests

A Knight

Is sworn to valour, His might upholds the weak, His heart knows only virtue, His blade defends the helpless, His wrath undoes the wicked, His sword speaks only truth.
The Knights Of Valour
Since 1997 the Knights of Valour have been entertaining audiences nationwide with their exciting shows of horsemanship, bravery and chivalry. This tradition continues as their upcoming season is filled with opportunities to see them at special events or watch our team compete in full-contact jousting tournaments around the world. Shane Adams entered his first competitive tournament, the U.S. International Jousting Championships in Estes Park, Colorado. On a borrowed horse using unfamiliar equipment, he rose to the challenge and won the title. From one member in 1997 to over ten full-contact competitors in 2005, the Knights of Valour Troupe is growing and continues to be the premier full-contact jousting troupe in North America.
