USELESS started in 2004 as a Brooklyn-based art and music zine. In 2005, its distribution opened to London, Paris and other cities worldwide, and the focus shifted towards contemporary art. Today, USELESS is an artist-run, independent, art and culture newspaper based in New York and London. Each bi-annual issue is comprised of original essays, interviews, photography and illustrations that relate to a theme. Our readers work in the creative industries of art, music, style and entertainment. It is collectable and disposable. You can find USELESS in museum shops and fine bookstores in more than fifteen countries.
