Malicious Intent

Formed in early 91, Malicious Intent was Bert Bigler on bass and vocals, Matt Friant on rythym guitar, Rob Snow on lead guitar and Ryan Hill on the drums. The band brought a fresh new mix of metal to the local scene. Playing many venues across the east coast and sharing the stage with many great bands, Malicious ran nine years with all of its original members. Rob Snow left the band to fulfill other duties in his life. Malicious Intent went on as a three peice sharpening their talents as a trio and becoming one of the most powerfull bands on the local scene. Shortly after Rob left the band Malicious Hooked up with guitarist John Goodale who brought a fresh new style to the band. The band, wich was now back to a 4 peice, hit the scene hard to spread the Malicious Virus through out the scene again. In 2002 drummer Ryan Hill decided it was time to try other avenues in the music scene and parted ways with the band. Eventually Malicious hooked up with ex Kaotic Bliss drummer Justin Pomper. Even though he was only 16 at the time he joined the band, he adapted very quickly and a new Malicious Intent quickly emerged. Shortly after John Goodale had other agendas and could no longer stay with the band. He was replaced by original Guitarist Rob Snow and the band continued playing shows into 2007.Malicous Intent has been influenced from many good musicians, but they feel the current lineup is its most impressive so far. Original singer and bass player Bert Bigler and Guitarist Matt Friant are now joined by ex Circle Of Fear drummer Jim Fare. Jim brings the much needed talent and stability to the core of Malicious Intent. Currently the trio are working to get back into the scene.
